For years, temporary labor has been vital to many organizations’ overall talent strategy. Many rapidly expanding businesses for instance, have fluctuating production rates or require specialized skill sets. It makes sense for these companies then to hire employees on a for-hire basis to handle spikes in demand or specialization. For many companies, temporary staffing has also evolved as a viable means of finding permanent hires.

This is where an experienced temporary staffing agency like ACS Services proves to be of value. The company operates in two main divisions—construction and manufacturing. In the manufacturing sector, most companies employ temporary employees for different trades ranging from general labor, machining, welding, maintenance, and quality control. They have a contracted length of service of about 90 working days. And since there is a much shorter window with accelerated needs and higher volume, the manufacturing customer will make a faster decision on the temporary employee.

To quickly apprehend the clients’ brief and find the specific talent, ACS has an internal team of recruiters who constantly looks out for skilled labor and onboard them. They have ten different carefully designed methods to vet candidates before the interview.

In the interview process, the ACS Services team will speak with the candidate to assess their skill level, experience and future goals. Depending on the job placement, ACS can also evaluate employee aptitude before sending them to additional interviews or for work.

We have knowledgeable people who have industry experience to do the interviews and manage the interaction with our clients. This helps us to understand the requirements of our clients and vet out candidates accordingly

Once the employee is selected and briefed on the job, they are taken to the client’s worksite by an ACS team member to introduce them to the new work site. The temporary employee will be then instructed by the client’s foreman, who will supervise and guide them on their assignment. ACS also keeps the communication channel open to check on the employees to ensure everything is going as intended and that the client is satisfied. In case the client is not happy with the employee, ACS makes a new match.
