BuildTech Asia will focus on accelerating the construction industry's post-pandemic recovery.
FREMONT, CA: According to the Minister of State for National Development, almost 40 percent of Singapore's resident professional, managerial, executive, and technical personnel work in the built environment. In order to build fulfilling careers, and attract and keep the next generation of professionals, they need to use technology and reinvent occupations, especially in the facilities management (FM) industry.
At the Facilities Management Conference, a component of BuildTech Asia 2022 in Singapore. By assisting industry players in implementing digitised solutions for their job, it strives to address the ageing workforce and buildings. The event will feature more than 120 actual and virtual exhibitors, 44 industry associations, and partners from 16 participating nations.
The actual show features technological innovations that will lessen our need for humans, including the glass facade cleaning robot made by BIGL Robotics, which can clean the glass of large buildings. Their glass facade cleaning robot, which uses artificial intelligence, is the ideal substitute for manual labour in a high-risk environment, as it gets harder to clean taller and larger buildings, and fewer people are willing to engage in this profession.
