The Inertia Intelligent Construction Drawings Embedded App for Procore will improve data collection and accessibility from the field while increasing productivity.
FREMONT, CA: Inertia Systems, a provider of location-based construction management software, today announced an integration with Procore, a leading construction management software provider, which will create Inertia's Intelligent Construction Drawings (ICD) technology accessible through Procore's Embedded Experience. Construction teams will be able to use proactive, data-driven, and connected ICDs due to the integration.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is exploded in popularity in recent years, allowing worksite teams to collaborate more effectively, eliminate risks, and construct more efficiently overall. Inertia's ICD technology uses BIM data to deliver a 2D visual-first approach to Jobsite management and collaboration. ICD sheets made in the Inertia Embedded App are automatically generated and enable field data to instantaneously connected to the correct physical place on a project map. The project maps, including ICDs, are automatically updated as the BIM designs change.
"Projects succeed or fail based on the quality they deliver on the first attempt. Field data and lessons learned have become the most valuable data to leverage in construction organizations," said Matthew Hudelson, CEO of Inertia.
