The HVAC system operates along with the variable speed, which creates an efficient cooling pattern for single-speed systems.


FREMONT, CA: Changing from standard HVAC systems to variable speed technology systems is a more cost-effective approach to battle the heat throughout the year. Variable speed technology is the type of air conditioner or heat pump compressor. In air conditioning and heat pump systems, compressors generate the cooling and heating capacity of the system. Variable speed technology enables the HVAC system to operate at a range of speeds to precisely and efficiently regulate the heated or cooled air in a home.

Cost savings and energy conservation


The variable speed technology uses less energy than single-stage systems. A variable speed HVAC system is more expensive initially, but its precision and adaptability make it the most efficient and cost-effective in the long run. In contrast to a single-speed or two-stage system that starts and stops throughout the day, variable speed technology permits an HVAC system to accurately change its output based on the home's temperature and comfort requirements. It decreases the home's potential peak demand for electricity service.
