The evolving construction industry is now looking beyond traditional methods and adopting dry construction.
FREMONT, CA: The construction industry is experiencing a shift. Stakeholders are going beyond traditional methods and experimenting with new techniques. One such technique that holds a lot of promise is dry construction. Unlike the conventional construction systems, dry construction involves prefabricated components that can be assembled on the site. Such a process is very different from the traditional way of building that uses bricks and concrete. Some of the factors that work in favor of dry construction are listed below.
• Reduces Construction Period
Conventional construction is a long-drawn process and requires a lot of time. On the contrary, dry construction allows the completion of projects within short periods. Since most of the components that go into creating the structure are already fabricated, one only has to assemble them on the site. There is no need to wait for days to allow concrete to dry and gain strength. Thus, the total time taken to complete a structure reduces significantly.
